Jawa Barat's Indonesian Data One Coordination Meeting

BPS-Statistics of Jawa Barat Province held a Coordination Meeting on Increasing the Role and Function of Statistics Institutions in One Data Indonesia together with the Office of Communication and Information and the BAPPEDA of Jawa Barat Province. Located at the Aryaduta Hotel in Bandung, the coordination meeting was held for 2 days on 29-30 October 2019. Participants came from BPS and the Provincial and District / City Communication and Information Center of Jawa Barat. Coordination speakers were from BPS RI and the Province, Jawa Barat Province BAPPEDA and Jawa Barat Province Diskominfo.

The Purpose of One Indonesian Data (SDI), among others, is to provide a reference for implementation and guidelines for Central Agencies and Regional institutions in the context of implementing Data governance; Achieve the availability of data that is accurate, current, integrated, can be accounted for, and is easily accessible and shared between central and regional agencies; Encourage openness and transparency of data so that planning and formulation of development policies based on data are created; Support the National Statistics System (SSN) in accordance with statutory regulations.

The Coordination Meeting ended with the signing of the Indonesia Data Joint Commitment between BPS and the Provincial and Regency / City Communication and Information Office.
