Statistical Business Register Enumeration

Thursday, July 21, 2022, BPS Bandung City received a visit from the Directorate of Census and Survey Methodology Development in order to enumerate SBR (Statistical Business Register) to several SBR samples in the trade, rental and hotel sectors in Bandung City.

The SBR activity aims to compile an integrated, up-to-date and comprehensive directory of companies/businesses for economic statistical activities at the Central Statistics Agency. In the future, SBR will become an integrated company/business data source at BPS, which provides a sample framework for all economic surveys and provides a measurement of the respondent's burden in line with the integration function. SBR is a source of statistics for business demographics in Indonesia. Furthermore, SBR defines and standardizes statistical units based on the 2008 System of National Account (SNA) into three levels, namely enterprise group, enterprise and production unit (establishment). SBR can describe the structure of statistical units that reflect the real business structure by mapping the relationships between units (parent-child and center-branch) in the form of a relation tree in the SBR System
