West Java Province EPSS Plenary

On August 28-29, 2023, BPS West Java Province held a plenary forum at Santika Hotel, Garut Regency. This activity aims to harmonize the Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) in 2023. Participants who attended were BPS regencies / municipalities in West Java as many as 5 representatives each, and also invited the Communication and Information Service of West Java Province.

The EPSS activity itself is one of BPS' efforts to improve the quality of the implementation of sectoral statistics within the local government. There are five domains that are assessed, namely the One Data Indonesia Principle, Data Quality, Statistical Business Processes, Institutionalization, and National Statistics. Each domain consists of aspects and indicators that totally will produce the Statistical Development Index (IPS) which states the maturity level of the implementation of sectoral statistics.
