Annual VHTL 2024 Accommodation Services Survey Data Collection

The data collection activity of accommodation/hotel service businesses (VHTL) is carried out once a year, in order to obtain complete information related to accommodation businesses. The scope of data collection is accommodation service businesses, both starred and non-starred hotels in Bandung City. The purpose of enumerating accommodation service businesses is to obtain specific characteristics (profile) of the business activities of accommodation businesses, obtain a description of the characteristics of the workforce of the business activities of accommodation businesses, obtain a description of the structure of income and costs and expenses as well as additions and subtractions of capital goods, obtain data on raw materials used by accommodation businesses, and obtain data/information on the number of guests of accommodation businesses and their relationship with capital ownership and the environment.

The sample frame of the company's business used is the business list of accommodation service companies from the Tourism Directory which is equipped with address information and type of accommodation. As for the sample in Bandung City, there are around 463 accommodation businesses, both starred, non-starred hotels and other accommodation service provider businesses such as homestays, which are scattered in Bandung City. The survey implementation itself will start in July until the end of August 2024. Field enumerators involve partners and field supervisors from organic BP. Data collection from business companies is carried out through questionnaires and will later be inputted into the Fasih SM application.
