The Visit of Sectoral Statistics Development within the Bandung City Government

On Wednesday, October 2, 2024 BPS Bandung City continued a series of sectoral statistical coaching to data producers within the Bandung City Government. A total of 7 OPDs within the Bandung City Government were visited by the Bandung City BPS PSS Team, namely: DPMPTSP, Environmental Agency, Fire and Disaster Management Agency, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Agency, Coblong District, Arcamanik District and Rancasari District.

During this visit, screening, assistance in the preparation of indicator metadata and variable metadata was carried out, which is an important part of managing accurate and reliable sectoral data. Coordination and collaboration with all stakeholders are needed in organizing statistical activities to produce quality statistical data. The coaching and mentoring process this time is expected to encourage the preparation of various supporting evidence earlier so that the maturity level target for organizing sectoral statistics within the OPD of the Bandung City Government can be achieved in the future.

This Sectoral Statistics Development activity is part of a series of organizing One Data Indonesia (SDI) governance which aims to improve statistical literacy, provide implementation references and guidelines in providing accurate, up-to-date, integrated, accountable and easily accessible and shared data between central and regional agencies, especially within the Bandung City Government.
