117th National Awakening Day Ceremony

Tuesday, (20/05) BPS Bandung City held a ceremony to commemorate the 117th National Independence Day. The ceremony was held in the courtyard of BPS Bandung City and attended by all employees. Acting as the Ceremony Supervisor, the Head of BPS Bandung City delivered a mandate from the Ministry of Communication and Digital of the Republic of Indonesia.  Revival is not an event that is completed in one period. Revival is an endeavor that continues to live. It requires us not to be trapped in the romanticism of the past, but demands courage to answer the challenges of this age, an age that presents far more complex tests, technological disruption, geopolitical tensions, global food Kris, and threats to our digital sovereignty.

Our founding fathers laid down the principle that anchors us in facing the world: a free and active foreign policy. In the increasingly strong current of globalization, we are grateful that Indonesia continues to step calmly, maintaining a balance between openness and independence. The principle of free and active foreign policy, which has been the guideline since the beginning of independence, always guides our steps.  This spirit is reflected in every step of the National Awakening at home. Indonesia treads a path of development that is not solely focused on economic growth, but also ensures that every policy opens space for fair and equitable progress. A great endeavor so that the magnificent development remains firmly grounded in the interests of the people.
