Abstract

In April 2021, Bandung experienced an inflation of 0.19 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.25. The CPI in April increased when compared to the CPI in March 2021, which was 106.05.

The inflation rate for the 2021 calendar year "year to date" for Bandung is 0.53 percent and the year on year inflation rate for "year on year" (April 2021 against April 2020) is 1.13 percent.

The April 2021 inflation occurred due to an increase in the index in the food, beverage and tobacco category by 0.46 percent; the equipment, tools and household routine maintenance group by 0.39 percent; the health group of 0.04 percent; the transportation group of 0.32 percent; the information, communication and financial services group of 0.02 percent; the recreation, sports and culture group by 0.01 percent; and personal care and other services group of 0.58 percent.
