Abstract

The percentage of poor population in March 2022 will decrease to 4.25 percent;

Number of poor people (population with per capita spending per month below the poverty line) in the city of Bandung in March 2022 109.82 thousand people (4.25 percent), a decrease of 2.68 thousand people compared with a poor population in March 2021 of 112.50 thousand people (4.37 percent);

The Poverty Line for the City of Bandung in March 2022 is IDR 545,675 per capita per month and in March 2021 IDR 515,396.-. During the March 2021 Period until March 2022 there was an increase of IDR 30,279 per capita per month or up 5.87 percent;

The Poverty Depth Index (P1) for Bandung City decreased from 0.78 in March 2021 to 0.70 in March 2022. This indicates that the average spending gap of each poor population against the poverty line is approaching;

The Poverty Severity Index (P2) for Bandung City decreased from 0.24 in March 2021 to 0.17 in March 2022. This indicates that the disparity (gap) in spending between the poor population itself is moving shrink.
