Abstract

MtM inflation in Bandung City in December 2023 occurred at 0.32 per cent with a consumer price index (CPI) of 116.16, for combined West Java MtM inflation of 0.37 per cent, while national MtM inflation was 0.41 per cent.

Some commodities that contributed to inflation and deflation this month were red chilli by 0.08 per cent; rice by 0.03 per cent; shallots by 0.03 per cent; cigarettes by 0.03 per cent. 0.03 per cent; filter clove cigarettes 0.03 per cent; cayenne pepper 0.02 per cent; purebred chicken meat 0.01 per cent; eggs 0.01 per cent; sugar 0.01 per cent; train fares 0.01 per cent and household fuel -0.01 per cent.
