Abstract

Month to month (m-to-m) inflation in Bandung City in January 2024 amounted to 0.10 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.00, for West Java MtM inflation of 0.15 percent, while national MtM inflation amounted to 0.04 percent.

Some commodities that contributed to inflation this month, namely rice by 0.08 percent; house contract by 0.06 percent; gold jewelry by 0.03 percent; machine-made clove cigarettes by 0.02 percent; machine-made white cigarettes by 0.02 percent; inter-city transportation by -0.02 percent; eggs -0.02 percent; red chili by -0.04 percent; gasoline by -0.04 percent and cayenne pepper by -0.11 percent.
