Abstract

The number of labor force in August 2024 was 1,354.9 thousand people, an increase of 36.0 thousand people compared to August 2023. The Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) increased by 0.96 percentage points from 66.97 percent to 67.93 percent.The working population was 1,254.6 thousand people, an increase of 52.1 thousand people from August 2023. people from August 2023. All business fields experienced an increase in employment. The business field that experienced the biggest increase is the Industrial business field (28.6 thousand people).

A total of 709.4 thousand people (56.55 percent) worked in formal activities, a decrease of 26.8 thousand people compared to August 2023 26.8 thousand people compared to August 2023.
