Abstract

In January 2025 there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Bandung Municipality of 0.61 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.64.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by the increase in seven expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverage and tobacco group by 4.42 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.54 percent; health group by 1.63 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 0.42 percent; education group by 0.93 percent; food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 2.42 percent; and personal care and other services group by 8.89 percent. Meanwhile, four expenditure groups experienced a decrease in the index, namely: housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups by 6.30 percent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance groups by 0.58 percent; transportation groups by 0.17 percent; and information, communication and financial services groups by 0.07 percent.

Month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate of Bandung Municipality in January 2025 amounted to 0.89 percent respectively.
