Welfare Statistics in Bandung Municipality 2023

Data and information are needed in order to support the process of planning, implementation and evaluation of development results so that it can run well. Data on socioeconomic conditions are needed to provide an overview of development achievements and can also be used by policy makers to evaluate development programs. Data related to the needs of the community such as clothing, food, shelter, education, health, security, and employment opportunities are needed to determine how far the achievement of development results reaches all levels of society. The data and indicators are sourced from the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) which is designed to produce socio-economic data on the population in the education, health, housing, and socio-cultural sectors.
The 2023 People's Welfare Statistics publication is the result of data collection through the March 2023 Susenas Kor questionnaire (List VSEN2023.K) and the Expenditure/Income questionnaire (List VSEN2023.KP) conducted in all regions of Indonesia. This publication is presented in the form of percentage figures of a population. Some data are differentiated by sex to meet the needs of gender gap analysis.
