The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) has become the main reference to meet the needs of the government in implementing national development in line with the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN), the Nine Priority Agenda or Nawacita, and the Sustainable Development Goals (TPB / SDGs) .
Every year, Susenas collects data and basic socio-economic information such as population, education, employment, information and communication technology, health, housing, social protection and household consumption and expenditure.
Given the wide scope of Susenas, not all information in the socio-economic field is collected in complete and detailed way. To answer the needs of various groups, more detailed information related to socio-economy is covered in modules which are carried out every three years. The Susenas Health and Housing Module (MKP) is one of the Susenas modules that is carried out alternately with other Susenas modules, namely the Social Resilience Module (Hansos) and the Socio-Culture and Education Module (MSBP). The MKP Susenas which will be held in September 2019 is the 9th MKP Susenas since it was first implemented in 1992.
2019 MKP Susenas can be used as a guide to see the achievements of the 2015-2019 RPJMN. Furthermore, the 2019 MKP Susenas is able to answer the needs of various Ministries / Institutions (K / L) as a basis for planning, monitoring, and evaluating the 2020-2024 RPJMN, Nawacita, and TPB programs.
In this regard, demands for improving the quality of data which include accuracy, relevance, timelines, and comprehension are increasingly high. Likewise, the expectations of data users are higher with the Susenas data. Improving the quality of Susenas data is a must and is continually being pursued. Susenas was collected by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to provide a portrait of development progress. The portrait must be accurate and can be trusted by the public at large.
The quality of the 2019 MKP Susenas data is always maintained at each stage of its activities, no exception at the data processing stage. Therefore, at the Mercure Hotel, Jalan Supratman, Bandung City, BPS Jawa Barat Province held a Training of Officers / Coordinators / Responsible for Processing the National Social Economic Survey of the MKP 2019, for 4 days starting on 17 September to 20 September 2019.
