Briefing Social Economic Registration BPS City of Bandung

This afternoon, BPS Bandung City Monday, August 15, 2022 held a briefing regarding Regsosnek (Socio-Economic Registration) which will be implemented starting September 2022. Regsosnek is a collection of social and economic data for the entire population of Indonesia. This activity is carried out to see the dynamics of community welfare as a reference for targets and integration of social protection programs and economic empowerment. This Regsosnek activity is carried out throughout Indonesia and is carried out in a door-to-door census, this is due to the limited socio-economic data for targeting programs of all Ministries, Institutions and Local Governments in reaching the poor and vulnerable groups more accurately and uptodate.

Head of BPS Bandung City, Mr. Aris Budiyanto said that BPS played a role in this activity as a compiler for methodological standardization, data collection management and updating. The real role of BPS in supporting socio-economic development is the provision of statistical data as needed, as the implementer of statistical management and decision support systems. The results of this Regsosnek will later be managed by the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bapenas to be submitted to the ministries, institutions and regional government in need.
