Socialization and Release of Gender Inequality Index (GII) of Bandung City

Tuesday, (14/05/2024) BPS Bandung City held a Socialization and Release of the Gender Inequality Index (IKG) of Bandung City in 2023. In this activity BPS Bandung City also invited the Bandung City Communication and Information Office, Bandung City Development Planning, Research and Development Agency, Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DP3A), Bandung City Population Control and Family Planning Office. In this data release activity, BPS issued a new statistical indicator in the form of the Gender Inequality Index (IKG), this indicator replaces the Gender Empowerment Index (IDG) which has been routinely issued by BPS.
