Training on National Socio-Economic Survey BPS Bandung City

BPS Bandung City held a National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) Training on 04-05 September 2024. The training activity was to prepare for field enumeration which will be carried out in the third week of September 2024. Susenas is a routine survey conducted by BPS in the social and economic fields. The data generated in this enumeration will produce indicators that are the main reference in monitoring the progress of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievements until 20230. This training involved Organic and Partner BPS Bandung City. In this Susenas data collection, BPS Bandung City organized the Susenas Socio-Cultural Module (MSBP). The questionnaires used in the 2024 Susenas MSBP enumeration were the Socio-Cultural and Education Module Questionnaire (VSEN24.MSBP) and the Consumption/Expenditure Questionnaire (VSEN24.KP).

In his remarks, the Head of BPS Bandung City asked all officers to jointly maintain data confidentiality and quality. It is hoped that this training will improve participants' understanding of concepts and definitions in conducting both interviews and filling out questionnaires, so that the data produced will be accurate and valid. This Susenas enumeration activity is a shared responsibility until the end of the enumeration implementation.
