FGD of Manufacturing Industry Company Survey Activities in Bandung City in 2024

Monday (28/10/2024) BPS Bandung City held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the Manufacturing Industry Company Survey Activities in Bandung City in 2024. This activity aims to conduct socialization, establish communication with external parties related to survey activities, increase the response rate and make a follow-up plan for activities in 2025. This activity was attended by representatives of large and medium manufacturing industry companies included in the annual and monthly IBS (Large and Medium Industry) survey respondents. This activity will provide tremendous value to the portrait of the development of the industrial sector in the city of Bandung, especially large and medium industries.

In this activity, the speakers were Hendy Hario Sasongko, S.Si, M.Stat, Associate Expert Statistician of Distribution Function of BPS West Java Prov, Mr. Ahmad Kosim Asmari, SE, M.M Chairman of Apindo Bandung City, and Mr. Ratif Sinarto, SE, M.Art, M.Th, Director of PT Logam Bima. In his remarks, the Head of BPS Bandung City said that industrial data is very important to determine development and make decisions and policies that are right on target. Industrial data is also used to calculate the rate of economic growth, GRDP (Gross Regional Domestic Product), gross value added of industrial business fields, and others. It is hoped that with this activity BPS Bandung City can collaborate with business people to improve and obtain support from business people to participate in preparing for the 2026 Economic Census to obtain accurate and quality data.
