Abstract

Month to month (m-to-m) deflation in Bandung City in May 2024 amounted to 0.06 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.06, for West Java MtM deflation of 0.12 percent, while National MtM deflation amounted to 0.03 percent.

Several commodities that contributed to inflation this month, namely broiler eggs by 0.03 percent; shallots by 0.02 percent; garlic by 0.02 percent; potatoes by -0.01 percent, tomatoes by -0.02 percent; red chili by -0.02 percent; cooking oil by -0.02 percent; cayenne pepper by -0.04 percent; rice by -0.05 percent; and chicken meat by -0.05 percent.
