Abstract

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the index of eight expenditure groups, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 3.16 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 1.56 percent; the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.39 percent; the health group by 3.63 percent; the recreation, sports and culture group by 0.12 percent; the education group by 0.93 percent; the food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 2.09 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 9.15 percent. While the three expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index are: the group of supplies, equipment and routine maintenance of households by 0.51 percent; the transportation group by 1.57 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group by 0.25 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate in Bandung City in October 2024 was 0.04 percent, while the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 1.01 percent.
