Briefing Quality Gates BPS Bandung City

Friday (03/15/2024), BPS Bandung City conducted a Quality Gates briefing. Quality Gates are checkpoints in the implementation of statistical activities to determine the feasibility of a process continuing to the next stage by checking the quality of the process. This is done to support the implementation of statistical activities and statistical quality assurance. The implementation of Quality Gates requires a joint commitment from each line in implementing Quality Gates as an integral part of organizing statistical activities and also collaboration and synergy between Subject Matter and related work units in overseeing the quality of statistical activity implementation.

The Central of Statistics of Bandung City organizes Quality Gates to ensure the quality of the ongoing statistical implementation and to mitigate process risks as early as possible so that the impact of risks that may occur can be controlled for decision making so that it does not continue to the next stage of the activity process.

In his remarks, the head of the Bandung City Statistics Agency said that there are many benefits obtained when conducting Quality Gates, including increasing the efficiency of implementation time, energy and costs, supporting the success of the implementation of statistics as a whole, as well as evaluating, monitoring, and planning for statistical quality development in the internal environment and increasing the credibility of the Bandung City Statistics Agency.
